What Are The Functions Of Adhesive Tape To The Side Of Lithium Cells

1.Prevent short circuits: There must be an insulator between the positive and negative electrodes of a lithium battery. If there is no insulation on the surface of the cell, the positive and negative electrodes are likely to come into contact and cause a short circuit accident , which will lead to thermal runaway inside the battery and even an explosion.

2.Fix the cell position: Applying glue or pasting adhesive tape on the side of the cell can increase the mechanical strength of the cell and prevent the cell from being damaged due to vibration, collision and other reasons during transportation or use.
