Panasonic brings "special supply battery" for Tesla to China

Panasonic will build a factory to produce lithium ion battery in Jiangsu, China. The battery they are going to produce is the same as 18650 lithium ion battery for Tesla, and Panasonic will cooperate with a China company to build this factory. It is said that the two company already have communicated for a long time and have signed the contract, they will start to build the factory in the next half year of 2017.

Sure we will have chance to get more powerful 18650 lithium battery with lower cost.
